Delayed start up.

My truck has been acting a bit wierd for the last 3,500 miles or so. It started having intermittent rough idle problems, espescially at high idle.



Over the past week it has been starting poorly (not catching right away). Once it does start it runs fine, but the starter turns the engine over for quite a few revolutions before it fires.



The slight rough idle has gone away for now...



The only mod I have is an Edge Juice/Attitude with 5 stages. I never drive over 3 and am really pretty docile on the pedal. These problems have occurred in stock mode as well.



I changed the fuel filter about 4,500 miles ago.



Any thoughts?

Mine is doing the same exact problem. It would just take a long time to fire, but once it fired it would run fine.



It started doing it about a week ago. It would do it for a day, then for 2 days it would be fine. It just did it today again



I BELIEVE that there is a flash out for this I am not sure if it applies to 04's



Try taking off the edge box and see if it goes away.

Exact same problem

Have the exact same issue. Just started last week with my truck. It's currently at a dealer for a transmission problem and the mechanic will look into this as well.



Check the thread "longer cranking time" for others with the problem. Hope to find a fix soon for mine.
