Delete threads??

When you edit a message you wrote, why (at least for me) is it not possible to delete the threads?? I have a dup message and want to delete one and I can't.

To delete your post, when you hit edit, look at the top left side of the page, after it comes up. It should have a box there you can checkmark, then just to the right of it, you hit DELETE.



If you are the one to start the topic, it will delete everyone's post that replied.

Tried that - it wasn't working, said I didn't have rights to do this. Maybe its part of the server update... .

Were you trying to delete the first or second messages in the thread. You can't delete the first one because there is a reply to it (your 2nd one). Let me know if you're trying to delete the 2nd one.

That delete feature doesn't work for me either. The thread that I wanted to delete only has one post - Mine.

I have deleted several of my posts from a few weeks ago. I know that evan deleted a whole thread about a month or so ago. I guess I don't understand the question enough, so I will leave it to a moderator to figure out.

Steve, I was trying to delete the original message in the Towing & Hauling entitled "How Much is a good deal?" I edited the post to no text, but it won't allow me to delete, and there are no replys. For some reason, I posted this Sunday night, Monday morning after the server came back up, it wasn't there. So I reposted, then out of nowhere, it reappeared. Maybe I'm crazy- (been there ) But I just wanted to get rid of that one.

Me too!

Your not crazy, It happened to me too. Same circumstances. I went to post a poll and forgot to click the box (for polls). Tried to Delete the post so I could repost it correctly and it said I needed to be a moderator or something like that. So I just put disregard in the message.
