Deleted EGR, can I run regular Diesel oil now and not LE oil????

Can i just run the regular oil now instead of the hard to find Low emission oil since i have deleted the egr, added the smarty and have turbo back 5 inch exhaust delete kit????? I dont see why not but wanted to hear what you guys thought???

the low emission oil is more common than the old formula... ... ... ?With out the dpf etc it won't matter as long as it is diesel rated

Yes you can, the CJ and ULSD requirements are for the DPF.

If you find CI-4+ oil on the shelf anywhere convenient, let us know where... But yeah, without the DPF you're good to go on it.

Yes you can, as soon as I deleted the dpf and blocked the egr, I switched to Amsoil HD Diesel & Marine.

Amsoil has just released a new product that is CI and CJ-4 compliant. Its their OE 15W-40 Synthetic Diesel Oil (OED) and is specified for the manufacturer recommended drain interval or longer based on oil analysis.
