Out of state tax

I looked into purchasing a new truck in Oregon where there is not sales tax. The problem is, when registeting here in "we tax everything you own, California" you have to pay the local, state tax. If the slide-in doesn't have to be registered, than no problem... . Mak

As far as I know, Slide-ins are not registered with DMV in any state since they are not titled or require a license plate.
