Delivery time on new truck orders??

Well all, my signature will soon change..... I broke down and ordered a new 2002 3500 Quad cab 4X4 with the HO Cummins and the six speed transmission with all of the bells and whistles today. Of course now I am already impatiently awaiting its arrival. Does any one have a good feel for what the delivery time is on special order trucks right now??

Ordered my 3500 Quadcab HO 6speed on 9-21. It was built in Mexico. Was shipped on 10-24, Came by rail to Spring, TX. This morning 10-30 its on the ground in Westfield,TX. at the auto depot, waiting to be put on the first transport this way to East Texas. So I hope in the next day or two its HERE!!

The Dealer that I orderd my truck from was a GREAT help!

Tom Elder at Elder-Randall Motors,Henderson, TX. was a lot of help.

Once the truck was built he was able to find out what rail car it was loaded in. I work for the railroad, so I was able to track it.

Good news is

It probably won't be as long as you think. Dealer told me about 2 weeks ago not to expect it for another 45 - 60 days. So I went on that assumption and made plans for some things I had to do. I talked with him yesterday and They expect to see it this week on the lot. He gave me a build date of Oct 26 but said its already been shipped. I assume its coming out of Satillo. So hang in there it'll be here before ya know it.
