Delivery times on new builds?

I suppose I should cancel one of my truck orders, now that I have two. My first truck I ordered last week didn't include a "truck month" disount we talked about, and I didn't notice until I got home. I was going to let it slide, until after I talked to him it took him 6 days to call me back to tell me no dice. On the 5th day I said screw it and ordered from someone else...saving another $2k. I found it pretty easy to negotiate having an outstanding order. I emailed another dealer, who reached out to me when I was looking initially and said, "I have a down payment and truck on order with another company. If you are not interested in making much, but just want to order a truck to move inventory I'm willing to pay "this much". He agreed, and I drove down there today, put some money down and was out of there in 10 mins tops.

They went down and picked mine up yesterday nearly 13 weeks after ordering it. Then they said can you come in right away this afternoon? I said I would get to it in the next three days! Why hurry now?

Probably will pick up tomorrow.

End of the month. They want it in there books as delivered. My dealer even told me there was an extra $500 off because it was truck month.

Ordered my 2014 (below) on 12/16/13 came off line 1/14/14 pulled for 100% inspection delivered to dealer 3/23/14 picked up on 3/24/14!
This was a sold hot order go figure!
