Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) "delivery valve" o-ring and torque queshtions

I am getting ready to install some different delivery valves in my truck and was wondering what the part number is for the o- ring set that i need for the install(or if someone knows of a cross reference o ring). Also what do i torque the delivery valve nut to when reinstalling?

the timing procedure on dave fritz's tech page has the torque specs for the delivery valves.

the torque it 29 ftlbs initial torque and then final torque it 85 I reused the rubber oring on mine and had no leaks.

I think there is also a washer under the delivery valve, is this correct? and did you replace it? It lists on dave fritzs website to use part #4778483 flat washer(cummins # I guess), can i get this @ a dodge dealer?

What kind of dv's are you installing? your sig lists 191's. Straight from Piers tech page is the DV install Here This should also answer your washer question.

there is no copper washers under the 97' pump deilvery valves

I reused the rubber oring on mine and had no leaks.

The o-ring is only a dust shield. No way it'll seal the diesel, if there was a leak. Too much psi.

Everybody is correct. There is no copper washer on the 96-up trucks, and you can re-use the O ring it's only a dust shield. I wasted my money buying new O-rings, found out when I took out the DV's the O ring is on the barrel to seal off the threads and they were in perfectly fine shape even being 12 years old. Just clean the dust off and re-use it.

I have actually already installed them last saturday and they are leaking, this is why i am asking, they are supposed to be from a diesel shop somewhere in columbus, ohio . They are custom ground and they are VERY smoky

I am going to go through the whole process this weekend to see why they are leaking. Thanks guys for the responses.
