Has anyone tried the delivery valves that Enterprise Engine sells on their website? If so, what did you think about them?

Smoker,

I put Enterprise delivery valves in this morning. They were OE Bosch. Not machined ones.

Not tough to do. Just have to be careful to keep the spring pushed up into the DV holder.

I noticed a good torque increase in the mid to upper rpm range. Truck idles a little smoother too.

If you have a 160, 175 hp pump, I would highly recommend them. The stronger pumps might not benefit from them as much as the smaller ones do.

Got them in my truck. I talked to Dave Mitchell a while about the different choices that they offered. I decide to go with the second strongest set that they have. The strongest ones are laser cut and flow a lot of fuel and are used for pulling.

I'm not sure which ones I have. Are the other sets factory appearing. Mine look like someone has taken a grinder to them right under the spring seat. Is this the laser cut?

Smoker,

The OE Bosch High flow delivery valves should be coated with a brown plastic to prevent rust and nicks, like in the picture.

My Stock delivery valves had 052/131 stamped on the plunger part. The EE's had 052/191 stamped on them.

You may want to check with Dave to make sure you have the right ones for your application. I'm not sure now which ones I got? I'm gonna E-mail Lorretta to see which ones I have. I was not givin a choice when I ordered mine. #ad

If you need the special Socket to remove the valves, I can send it to you.

Hemi,
I was not given a choice either. Mine do not have any coating. As for the socket, thanks anyway but one came with my timing kit.

It sounds like you have the machined or modified ones. These may be too much valve for the street. Maybe not? I would call Dave or Loretta and see what they say.

Hemi,
For me, it is never enough fuel. I have not put these in yet but Dave told me that I was already shootin' more fuel than the twin trucks that he prepped up. I know it's probably stupid, but it gives me a good reason to keep trying bigger turbos. For me, anything is streetable. #ad

smoker,
When I bought mine there were 3 to choose from at Enterprise. The lowest flowing type were the same ones that the other vendors typically sell as a high flow delivery valve. The next higher up in flow were the ones that I bought. Both of these types are new Bosch parts and are still in the plastic sealant that you need to peel off. The third type are the laser cut ones that have been modified. These are used for pulling. Dave told me that I could maybe get by with those if I moved my plate back to cut down fueling but I didn't want to go that route. Since I use the truck to pull a fifth wheel, exhaust temps are important. I did notice a huge increase in power with these delivery valves and it was about as big an increase as when I first put my TST plate in. By the way, blew away a ten cylinder dodge on the way home tonight on the freeway. When I slowed down and he pulled up next to me I yelled "And it gets 20mpg too!" I love it #ad

By the way, when you nail it with this set up, you can't even see the cars behind you. The exhaust temps do climb rapidly at full throttle!
