i am eventually planning to put 370's in, however i want some more power now. and was looking at delivery valves about how much power can i expect out of a set. and which ones should i get i think im leaning toward 191s, hopefully tommorow timing goes to 15 3/4 or 16 and either a 14 or 16 housing please advise me on these ideas with pros and cons thanks in advance.

Depending on who you talk to... there have been varied reports of HP increases with installing 'bigger' DV's

I don't have any dyno numbers to back my claims up - but I noticed increasing HP/smoke every time I went up in size to a 'bigger' set of DV's.

My original swap (on the '94) from 131's to 181's didn't do much of anything other than possibly increase throttle response just a little. Then I went to a set of cut DV's... that was a very noticeable increase in power. After that, I went with a set of 022 DV's (and still have them in the truck now... ) which resulted in less HP than the cut DV's, but still quite a bit more than the 181's.

It won't do any good to put bigger DV's on stock inj,as a matter of fact some people say it's not good to try to pump to much fuel through either as it's hard on the pump. So get the 370's in first.

I agree with this statement to a point. I certain the 191's are fine with stock injectors. I am not certain about the 022's or cut DV's.
