Dell or Gateway for New Computer???

Dell XPS M140, the card slot is an Express slot! I have seen were Sierra Wireless will offer a USB modem but not till after the first of the year and I hear tell that Verizon has a card but it's not offered in Okrahoma and I have very established service with Cingular. Also I do have a new 3125 phone that is windows based and I can get E-mail, text, messenger ect so I'm not totally in the dark, I just can't look at cool stuff like the TDR with it... ... . way too busy.
