Does anyone have it is it any good ?
I'd buy this one, the last box you ever buy for that truck.

If you can afford it, you won't regret it.
This is the new 6-bolt steering gear like the Trucks have right now 2025 from the assembly line, just adapted for the older vehicles.
That's a small price to pay for the perfect box.
I'm so happy since I installed that box in my Gen.3, it's a whole new vehicle, all of a sudden a steering that behaves like a steering should behave in a modern vehicle.
Of course combined with the Thuren alignment over the factory garbage specs.
Call Genos, they are happy to help.
From what it is on the Genos website it is only the drag link that needs to be shortened 1/2" with an angle grinder.
I've a Gen3 and did the so called 2008 upgrade which gives that steering gear, a different pitman arm and whole new linkage.
I’m not scared of the grinder but when steering components are involved it worries me
@SAndreasen, You could have the "dreaded" double lock nut style that they want to weld that then prevents you from being able to do a proper alignment!Even independent shops won't touch the drag link if not welded! Ask me how I know that one.
