Is anyone out there using Mobile, Delvac 1300, 15W40? It's about $1 a gallon cheaper than Rotella and Delo 400? Just wondering if it's as good. Wal-Mart sells them all.

Thanks

Delvac 1300 Super

I've been using it. Never noticed that it was cheaper than the other dino oils though.

I've been very happy with it.

The Delvac 1300 Super was also just recently modified. You can go to the Mobile website and see. They've made the formula richer so it will suspend more soot for these new EGR requirements. I've already seen the bottles that have the "New" emblem in the upper left.

I use Petro-Canada 15w-40 and have never had a problem. I have a 97 with 160000 miles and no problems and a 99 with 44000 miles and no problems:D :D :D

It cost more where I buy it than the Rotella T, but i have run it for years and love it. I have a 1992 CTD with 240,000mi and that is all it has ever had in it. I have a 1999 (see sig) with 89,000mi and that is all it has ever had in it. I also run Wix engine oil filter #51607 on both truck with absolutely no problems. We are covered up with loggers down here that run Cummins engines, and Wix is by far the most popular filter. Lots of them run Rottella or Dello. If the loggers love this combination, surely it is good enough for my little trucks. :D
