The bumper is all aluminum, which means I don't have to think about different springs in the front end (like with a steel Reunel bumper). Layne can have it powder coated, like mine, or polish it up for you. There's some more pictures on their website,
www.denveroffroad.com -- the Earthroamer truck is what attracted me to this bumper in the first place. The polished bumper looks nice, but it'd just be muddy like the truck, most of the time. I also thought it'd be a nuisance when driving at night, reflecting headlights back at oncoming traffic.
I spent a lot of time trying to decide whether to buy a Reunel bumper or not -- the price tag and the weight were keeping me from buying it. When I saw the pics on the Earthroamer truck, I called Layne and ordered one. It took a few weeks longer than expected, because Layne kept sending it back to the powder-coater to redo little mistakes. He was real good about calling me every few days and updating me about the status. Once it was shipped, he called to tell me about some little tricks to make the install go easier, too.
I'm very happy with the new bumper, and with Denver Off-Road. Figure on spending about $1500 for the bumper -- a fair chunk of change, but worth every penny if you live up here in deer country.

Hit one at speed and you'll be shopping for a new truck, not a bumper.
I asked them about rear bumpers, and Layne said they've made some before, but it's not in as much demand as the front bumper. I'll probably look at getting a steel rear bumper, since I'm not worried about weight back there. But, if I can sneak some pictures of AndyP's truck next time he's around, I'll ask Layne how much it'd cost to have him make on like that.
