the only aliarc that I think would hold up to a good deer hit is the one on Duluth diesels pickup he had 1 custom built with I think 5 uprights. There are hundreds of aliarcs around here and I know of 2 friends running them and believe me they do not hold up to everyday rough road driving without cracking up you should see what a deer does to them you could just as well have a bolt on grill guard and get as much protection from it. the weld shops have lots come in just from being cracked up from rough road vibration.
I am going with rocking ranch they are almost like the ranch hand bumpers but better because ranch hand outsourced there production and they are made of lighter steel than they used to be. rocking ranch still uses heavier gauge iron to build them and they are a bit cheaper than ranch hand.
