Well, not exactly. That's because Layne has moved to Grand Junction, CO. So maybe now it's Grand Junction Off-Road??
Anyhow, here's the latest on Layne's bumpers. He now ships them all with the grille guard-- brush guards are optional. (I dunno if it was always this way). Shackle brackets are standard, as always.
The coating he is now using is some new kind of process that he wouldn't say much about. All he said was that the coating is 10 times tougher than powder coat, and Mercedes uses it on some of their most upscale models for exterior "paint".
He no longer offers the brushed clear coat finish-- the clear just wasn't as tough as he would like.
Anyway, here is Layne's new number:
970-858-4010
He's waiting on a welder to get repaired, and then production will be back up and running. All the stuff is cut out, just not welded
I was impressed with him on my first call, and there's no doubt in my mind that if I get a FER bumper, Layne is the man who will sell it to me.
