A while back I started a little company called Desert Racing Concepts. We upgrades for the 2nd and 3rd gen truck in the area of desert and off road. Our stuff is made to compliment others efforts like T. Rex engineerings radical suspension. We make a Bumper/ lightbar, Airbox with a foam filter, and I am working on some custom trick off-road motor mounts.
The reason I am posting about this is: On June 5th Kent from T. Rex fame, took one of my bumpers into the brutal terrain of Baja California. He was running the Baja 500 in a stock Dodge 2500 with a Cummins. His suspension was slung underneath, a full cage was built, Banks gave him some power, and I took on the task of designing a bumper that would hole up. Well it did. He put it to the test for us and it came out with flying colors. He had used it as a jack point ( not an intended use) push bar, tow bar ( not intended) skid plate, and a couple of others I may forget to mention. Well it came out without any cracks or breaks. I tried to get it back to hang on the wall, with an offer of a new one, and Kent said he's not taking it off of his truck. We are real happy with his response. See us in the Sept issue of Four Wheeler.
Thanks Greg
