Yet another story in my long line of vendors that suck.
I ordered a set of the velvet ride shackles three weeks ago from Desert Rat. Later that afternoon, there was a message on my machine from them saying that the shackles would have to be drop-shipped from the factory, and to call back if I had a problem with that. I didn't, so I waited.
And I waited. And waited. And waited.
Finally today I called them back. "They were to be drop-shipped, but they don't drop ship, so they're coming here first. "
I said it's been way too long, like over a month. The woman smarts off to me, "Well you ordered them on January 4th, so it hasn't been a month," and I just said fine, cancel it, I'm not waiting any longer.
I find it unreasonable that it should take over three weeks to get something like that.
So add Desert Rat gets added to my list of places I'll never deal with again. Now to find another place to get the shackles from...
