Interesting, but it appears the axles are way too far back for a one ton. In order to haul to GVW, you would need a class 6 or 7. Then you might as well get an air brake/fifth wheel lowboy with a detachable neck.
I wonder what supports the neck while it is detached to keep it from dropping to the ground? It’s neat but I think has a limited market. Ground clearance would be one issue. To me those cylinders don’t look like they are meant to raise anything too heavy.
The cylinders would essentially be picking whatever the pin weight is.
It Will be interesting to see what their other configurations will be. I like the concept. One reason I've always preferred tilt decks it keeps the approach angle a little less than a dovetail with ramps.
