2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Determine Delivery Date by VIN

I saw a post recently (tried the Search function with no success) where someone had the capability to determine the Delivery Date by VIN number.



Was hoping to determine the Delivery Date of my '99.

I don't think you can do that. The VIN is put on when the truck is built. You can find the build date on a door sticker if the sticker is in the same place as mine. You might be able to find the delivery date by taking the VIN to a dealer so the truck history can be looked up.
