The new truck love affair continues

I have been looking for a rear locker for my 325/600 4x4 since I purchased it 6 months ago. It looks like I am stuck with having a Tru Trac limited slip installed in the rear because I was stupid enough to order the truck with an open differential thinking that I would install lockers front and rear. I am having an E-Locker installed in the front. I have not heard of any true locker for the rear.

AAM makes a front and rear locker for the Power Wagon but you can only get the power wagon with a Hemi and the Hemi only comes with the 10. 5 rear axle. Looks like we are stuck with the limited slip for now.

I sent an email to AAM asking about limited slip or locker upgrades. I also asked if it was possible to make the factory limited slip more aggressive. No word back yet.

I have found more than once that I was only able to get power to one wheel(most of the time after turning tight, then stopping). I had to put it in 4x4 to get moving again in wet grass. Would love it if I could swap out some springs or something to make it do what I want. I restacked the clutches and frictions in my 97 to make it work for me.

BHaner, if you e-mail them again could you please ask about gear options.

i know i'm not the only one who would like some 4. 56's or so.

thanks' AL

I sent an email to ARB a while back. Could not find the reply that they sent but if memory serves me right they were going to have the AAM 9. 25 out fairly quickly and were going to have the 11. 5 out a couple of months after that - should be out soon (hopefully)

How similar are the Dodge and Chevrolet 11. 5's? You would think as many trucks that there are out there all the big locker manufacturers would be jumping on them.

Me too!

The open diff with our 10,000 lbs trailer in the dirt on a slope... not a good combo unless you like to dig a big hole with one tire.
