Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Have been looking at these portable security devices. They look kinda interesting. Holds a charge for a month, (unless you hardwire a power plug to it and stick it behind the rear seat.

The only immediate problems I see are if the bad guy knows it's there, he's gonna throw it like a frisbee, or use it as a decoy. The other thing is I think you arm it and disarm it via a web browser by setting up a schedule, or via phone call. Maybe you can set up a speed dialer in your cell phone to arm and disarm the unit when you are going to drive.
Basic unit: About 500 bucks
Basic Service: 20. 00/month
I'm just unsure if you NEED to be a contractor, or if anyone can use the service (in the user agreement it specifies you need to be a professional - or something to that affect). I am guessing they will probably take anyone's money, but if someone has one or knows the answer that would be helpful.
