My 2002 had the green coolant in it from last year when I had it serviced. I also own a 2007 and was just in the auto parts store reading the different coolant types. . On the back of the Dex cool bottle it says approved for all chrysler vehicles 2001 and newer and that it is compatible with HOAT systems ( My 07) and also OAT systems ( 2002). . SO thats what I used to refill when I changed my radiator hoses on the 2002. I bought a gallon of G-05 for the 07 just to have on hand should I need it. . What are your opinions on this??? Thanks!;)

If it had green, stick with green. I had a GM Service Manager tell me that DexCool is the lousiest crap on the planet, that it doesn't cool the way it should, and that it gets contaminated at the drop of a hat. My $. 02..... if the green stuff works, screw the environmentalists!!!!

Buy the red coolant from the dealer, both times I have seen someone mix Dex-Cool with another kind of coolant, they ended up with a jello like substance.

DO NOT USE DEX COOL

I will do more harm than good, after you see a water pump with the impeller ate off of it, heater cores trashed along with other problems the stuff is junk

In the dealerships ive worked at if a vehicle came in with dex cool GM or not we would do a full system flush and replace with green.

Looks like I will be flushing the system! Whats the easiest way to do this ??? Pull the lower hose from the block and run a water hose in the radiator fill until it runs clear?? THanks!!

I will probably get some of the G-05, It does NOT come mixed so I will have to mix it 50/50 with distilled water... Thanks!

i ran dex cool in my first gen and at 275k the radiator looked brand new ...

i run it in my '01 and at 155k i replaced the thermostat and the radiator looks brand new ... the water passages behind the thermostat look perfect also ...

flush it good and run distilled water ...
