Yep. Weatherunderground.com is your friend. I looked at the radar a couple days ago, and figured the weather would clear by today. But I didn't expect it to remain dry the whole time, what with that front moving through.

I'll second the great pull statement. It was nice seeing some old friends and seeing Craig pull back up here in WI. It was also awesome to see the Mod trucks up here.

Tisdale, them firemen goat ropers seemed about one honk away from a good bludgeoning. No disrespect to other firemen, but them guys were d**che bags. Any fireman who flips people off in full uniform autta get drug behind the truck with a hose around his neck and what ever's left run through the pumper. (goos-fraa-baah. There, all better. ) There were kids still there when all this happened. Good examples. :rolleyes:

Otherwise A fine pull indeed. A big thrill of the night was Dan Painter blowin the gate off the end of the track for the street class. 357ft, was it? I dunno, but it was out there! Put 25 ft on the next best, a not too shabby built NC truck.

Mod class had a nice showing. Seven was it? Us Yoders aint used to seein all that power. Zachariah gonna be up all night tryin to figure out how to get his mule to pull a plow like that.

If you fellers see the Watsons at any pull, be sure to go say hi. Thats a nice bunch, right there. They'll let you oogle all over that high dollar pullin rig. Look up "trick" in the dictionary and they got their truck picture right there. Them fellers can lay a bead.

Its always funny to watch the ford fellers see them pull, "See their, thats what a built up stroke can do!! That pwr stroke kicked that Dodge's ARSE!" :D

"Dude, thats a Cummins. " :rolleyes:

"Oh" :(

:-laf LOL Amish! Thanks for the kind words.

I'm sure glad we finally got a first run under our belt with the new truck, and a win at that.

Wish it would have been a little warmer though, and I hadn't gotten so sun/wind burnt :eek: .

I'll try to keep from stalling it at IRP or at least try not to blow my little bro up with a backfire #@$%!

I think the Cummins guys would like to forget about the WS class when the top 4 spots were owned by Duramax trucks.

No, the turbo sucked hard enough that the rubber intake to turbo adapter/elbow colapsed, snuffing the turbo like pulling an air shutoff.

BTW that turbo has over 50 hooks on it, a couple dozen passes at the dragstrip and lots of street abuse as well.
