Well, it looks like I will be able to make it, it will be my first time, but... I have seached all over, but no mention. How much does it cost? Can I just walk up to the gate and pay? what about kids admission? do I have to be a member of DHRA? Should I be?...

You should be able to find answers to most of your questions starting at this web page: http://www.dhraonline.com/?GROUP=series&PAGE=natdtirpgeninfo

No, you don't have to be a DHRA member; the overall event is open to the general public. And yes, you should be a member. :D :D

We must make allowances for the differently-gifted. Most of us handicap-challenged people have no trouble talking and walking at the same time. But he has to ride the short bus because he'd never get where he's trying to go on foot.

Problem is the 'owner' of the truck would rather have his truck at an event closer to his homefront... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

I can see giving the guy a hard time if it were his own truck- but it's not-so you gotta go where the boss wants his truck and his driver to be... .....

Atleast it'll still be at an event where we'll get to hear some coverage... ... ... ... ... ... .

Sounds like the problem was from a guy who was writing checks, and it was not his check book!!

Talk smack all winter, then go where he doesn't have a comparative car to run against.

Nothing new there.

Oh well, its more fun to watch the fleet of Garmon trucks coming, anyway. :D And TS Performance, and Scheid, etc, etc, and... the list goes on and on... :D

So COMP is the NHRDA "an NHRA Sanctioned organization"? Buster doesn't seem to want to answer the question. :p With the people you know at NHRA I figured you could answer such a simple question. :)

I noticed when I hit spell check it gave me these options for NHRDA "Nard, Nerd, Nerdy, Nurd. :-laf :p

Oh he wised up allright. The beans were spilled about those, "can't race pulling engines" in stock bodied pick-ups, that were ready to wax his tupperware with a nice cloud of soot.

And he rannnnnnnnn!!!!!!

Its cool, they will track him down eventually, if his truck even still runs.

Gene-
If your buddies so hot to trot, they don't need to track him down- everyone now knows where he's going to run- tell them to go to the other event... ... ... ... . simple as that!

Well, I doubt they will miss a legitimate Diesel motorsport sanctioning bodys event with big money at stake, to try and track down a truck that quite possibly isn't even running, or if it is, it needs a trailer to move it.

I hope it is running, can't wait to see his numbers.
