Competition NHRDA races at Mission BC

Competition New injectors are in!!!!!

Just got back from Billings, Montana track, and had a ball up there. We made 2 passes, and will post up a new note about the day. Unreal. We now have a new set of tuning issues, as the new transmission works so well, we are blowing the tires off.

On Indy and DHRA:

We are leaving for Indy Tuesday Mid day, and will be there on Wed PM. Meetings at Cummins Thursday, then on Friday we have the car on display at the corporate office building in the morning at Columbus, and at the Tech Center in the afternoon. If you are in the Columbus area, drop by and say hi.

Looking forward to the traction back there, we need it.

I'm glad to hear that your dragster is unequivocally recognized as the first dragster to break the 200 mph mark and holds the title as the fastest Diesel Dragster in the world…Congratulation and Scott and Dustin!!!!!!!!! I'm immediately calling our NHRA associates to inform them of this milestone… :) :) Oo. :) Oo.

when Scott gets that latched to the track it should run some good numbers .

Scott from the feed back I'm getting and from our conversation I belive you problem in hooking to the track is " drum roll" to much tire and to little air in them . that should get the guys on here talking , and I'll tell you the rest later on good luck in indy ,

I have been ask to be on standby to drive a comp car as St. Louis next week end . the drivers will not know until thursday if she can make the race if not I will have to fly up and drive her INTERSTATE sponsored G/ED and may be bring home another WALLY to balance out my mantel . if so I will have some one line up to shoe my ride their

Hey, CARNAC, are you reading the future??? I can only hope.

BBD... . The main thing is to watch out for the nit wits on the road and get there. We will leave probably thursday morning for the 10 hour drive.

Scott... It'll be good to see you and Dustin again.

See you there.

What is the cost to get into the events for Saturday only? The DHRA website has a two day pass for Sat and Sun for $30 or Sunday for $15. I assume its only $15 for Saturday as well. Anyone know for sure. Thanks gang.

Edit: There is now a Saturday-only ticket available. See my post below.

Say Scott, I have noticed you like to claim Scheids is big budget compared to what you guys have to work with, but I think Lucas just may be a bigger company than Scheid. And I'm almost positive Cummins is bigger than Scheids. :D

Just curious! :)

Bs

So if you only want to go Saturday, you have to pay $30 to get in?? That is bull****! I think I'll pass and just go to Tampico. It's a better pull and it's free.

The wife is leaving for Dallas in the morning so I will have no access to a computer all week. I am flying into St. Louie Thursday and the party starts for me then. See you guyz there. Everyone be careful driving in. Sleddy you keep an eye out for pool tables. :-laf

??? ... Huh. Now that's darned peculiar. I didn't know the IRP event was a sled pull. Learn something new every day, I guess.

Same, you guys were great to be around last year. Maybe you can rub the lucky wand over the car again this year.

Yep, those boys are both Big Bucks $$$, but the money is in thier hands, not mine.

For the record, (keep this between us two, Sled) we get a bit of help from Lucas on travel costs for shows and events and product, and nothing (official) from Cummins. I do get some advice, and tech ideas from the Cummins guys, but all the parts that we put into the car are charged to me from Cummins Rocky Mountain at the same employee cost as our techs and other employees. No complaints, just the facts.

That is one of the reasons for meeting this week, is to see what arrangements we may be able to make to get some assistance to make this a little easier on old Scotty's check book, and to take this up another notch on technology.

That really is a shame Scott. With the amount of R&D, $$$, and time that is put into these rides, it sure would be nice to see corporate America to step-up just a bit to help cover some cost.

Maybe with the ESPN and Extreme 4x4 coverage, some of that will change soon.

Yeah Scott, One would figure they would jump on board and give you much more help with parts- don't get me wrong the tech support is nice but... ... ... what's the harm in promoting their name at the big events with a little parts trade-off? Bean-counters no doubt... ... .

We do listen to our fans! IRP will have a Saturday-only ticket available for $20.

Thats still cheaper than Scheids, as you gotta pay for the youngens as well. 16 and under free for IRP. ... Now if we could just get the dyno fee dropped $10:D.

Well David, Bill does have a point. Just think of all the "good" press you would get. And what a heart. I like the sound of it.

Oh and by the way, whose helping with fuel bill for my truck to Indy? AnybodY?
