I've camped at Bong before, and if we can reserve the Sunset campground sites, they are FAR away from the main office. Maybe we can take the whole campground ? I will see what other information I can come up with here in the near future.
Well, I did some checking on the campgrounds at Bong Rec. Area. Here's what I found out: The Sunrise Campground is the only one that can be reserved and has electric available on the dates of the meet. Sites 201-237 have electric and are available to be reserved. I think the sites cost $10 a night for a non-resident, along with a $3. 00 fee for electric. There is also a $10 per day fee for non-residents to enter the park. The reservation fee costs $9. 50 and can either be done online, or by phone (call 1-888-WI-PARKS). Let me know if you think this will be ok, or if we should look at some private campgrounds. As of today, none of the sites have been reserved. You can check it out by going here:http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/specific/bong/index.html
