Competition Behold The Red Rocket Is B.i.a.

Competition Lost 500 rpm for no apparent reason?

The weather in Southern Nevada gets real hot by mid May, so the first week of May has become pretty much the norm. As far as Jim Fulmer's comment about big HP guys not going to May Madness, maybe he is "skeered" because a little guy from Cal named Brown brought two third gens that made over 800, one of them almost 900 hp at MM'06. :D

C'mon, Jim, don't you want to get another trophy at MM next year? :D

In the configuration my truck is in right now I'd say I'm done with all that. Back to a single, stock pump and 370's... . as of tonight.

Tired of it! Too much money spent and too many broken parts. My truck has been down for 4 months so far this year, that's actually about normal as the last 2 years I have had that much down time each for one thing or another. I remember back when all I did was check the oil and maybe tinker with stuff every now an then. It's actually not that bad for power right now but needs some tuning and to fix one exhaust leak..... my mistake.

Who knows what the future will hold or even next year.

I understand completely Joe. Just lobbying for my own selfish interests. :)

I think it would be good if it was late April; back it up 1 or 2 weeks so it isn't landing on all the 'end of school' stuff.

But scheduling venues etc etc I don't envy you that kind of pia one bit. See you there regardless as long as my son's graduation isn't that weekend! It'll be a blast to do a sledpull in Vegas.

The thing about me living in Omaha NE is Vegas is not much worse for me then PA or KY or WV... EVERYTHING good in Diesel land is a LONG DRIVE! ugh.

Why oh Why didn't I do this stuff when Diesel was still $1. 25/gal???? :(

We realized today a gallon of fuel costs more then a pack of Marlboros! I don't smoke but it's a strange juxtaposition isn't it!

Man if you guys get out of it..... I donno what to say.....

That'll be a sad sad day for the Diesel Power world. You are the guys that make it happen. Everyone has set backs no matter what they do. Tough times happen. Earnheardt didn't do well every time out either.

Stick with it guys! Us little guys dream of bein up there with ya!

Can't say I'm out of it as the power I have right now is pretty darn good, especially with the water on... ... just not as spooky.

When I pulled everything off I didn't cut anything up, so it would just be a bolt on with a few things that needed to be changed. Let's just say the engine is at cruise thrust and not takeoff power... ... ... engineer thing!
