DHRA announces two new resources via the internet.
Starting today two new resources are available from DHRA. These resources are being added to meet the need of DHRA teams, Fans and the Media. The resources are the Media Library and the Fan Site.
Media Library:
DHRA will be using the internet to insure that the Media have access to information when preparing stories about not only the DHRA but the Teams and sponsors. A link has been provided from the DHRA home page.
DHRA Fan site:
The fan site will be used as a repository for pictures, media clips and a place for teams to post their information. DHRA has posted all of the pictures from the first two DieselPower! Sled pulling events and the Pro-Street Shoot-out opener event from Beech Bend Park. Additional information will be posted to the Fan site either during or right after the rest of the events during the season .
The fan site requires joining the SuperMotors (www.supermotors.org) site by setting up an account (no charge for joining) and then requesting the DHRA Fan Club http://www.supermotors.org/clubs/dhra/ . Instruction on this process can be found by the following link. http://www.supermotors.org/clubs/dhra/how_to_join.php
DHRA was featured in the News letter that went out to more than 10,000 SuperMotors users.
From their Newsletter:
Diesel Hot Rod Association Fan Site Powered by SuperMotors
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with the Diesel Hot Rod Association! SuperMotors is the official provider of the DHRA's Fan Club website services. Diesel enthusiasts on SuperMotors are encouraged to visit and join the DHRA fan site!
The Diesel Hot Rod Association, Inc. (DHRA) was formed to promote and advance automotive sports that involve the use of diesel (compression ignition) engines. Two examples of such sports include drag racing and sled pulling. The DHRA is a diesel motorsports sanctioning body. We are an NHRA-approved alternate sanctioning organization. We work with both NHRA and the SFI Foundation when developing our rules to ensure, as much as is reasonably possible, the safety of our competitors, fans and sponsors. Stay tuned for updates with the DHRA Fan Site and SuperMotors!
