Competition TS Performance Dyno Results

eric, u got any plans for a prostock class? where the single charger guys that are tired of breaking dont have to pull in a class where whey have no chance? that is the only reason why i plan on attending and not pulling at irp.

1. Watson, Christopher 300. 08 X

2. Haisley, Curt 294. 06 X

3. Martin, Terry 291. 00 X

4. Crowder, Kent 276. 07 X

5. Haisley, Van 253. 01 X

6. Cox, Todd 202. 06 X

We'll see how this year goes, if that's what the pullers want. They set up these classes, so we'll see how the responses go, I personally like the idea of a single turbo-all out pulling class.

We talked about making it one class with a weight break or a hitch height advantage for the single turbo guys, your thoughts Nick?

id say open up the rules in the super street class..... that way the guys that are gonna run with the ppl will also have a class with the dhra. i dont know if there would ever be a way to make kents truck and mine or todd's truck on the same level... ...

Just use stock chevy parts

the trucks that will be on top of this "pro-stock" single open modified class will not be built any cheaper than a real open modified truck. Well maybe a couple g's for only one turbo.

If you want to compete, you have to spend the money, but it is funny to watch people beg for classes to be made around their truck.

How about an automatic only class Eric? That would be the gosh darn farest class ever. no one will have to spend money and everyone will compete.

I don't know about classes, but the pulls were great last night. Eric, I hope things get better with registering... ... ... ... to register took an hour and a half. That has got to change, I know about the on-line attempt... ... ... not sure you are going to get many there though... ... ... . things happen shows get cancelled. Later Jim.

.

Kyles dead on. Two trucks in the Street class did that very thing.

We'll see what happens as the year goes on, but if changes are going to be made, there will be made by DHRA members who are pulling in that class, and the DHRA.

If you want class rules changed for your truck, I would suggest pulling in the class your truck fits in this year, to show you are serious.

What? Gene no thanks for letting my employee work at the scale last night, all he wanted was a hat, not your last years uniform... ... ..... lol, good to see ya for a sec last night... ... ... . later Jim.

The register issue was my fault, we were breaking in a new person, and I didn't explain things well enough, and kind of threw her to the dogs.

However, if the pullers would register when they arrive, and arrive when they should, not 30 minutes before the pull, there wouldn't be such a line.

That will change also.

How about the first person to register gets to pull last, and go from there?

Yes, thanks to Turbo Tweaker for making himself useful, and Jtisdale also.

I always thought volunteer help was just that? :-laf

Yes I told him the same thing... ... ... . lol, I did see Jim after the pull, was good to see him too again... ... I doubt he will be at IRP, so I chated for a sec... . he told me that I was not allowed to drink Mt Dew on the way home..... since I passed out last year. So I rode in the back of the truck. See ya soon Gene, later Jim.

Yea Jim, we were thin last weekend, won't happen again. Poor Rita trying to get people signed up for membership and registering was a nightmare.

I will say that if it wasn't that busy, we'd have been sad, Wisconsin folks sure know how to party! 2000 spectators and 57 trucks pulled! JUST AWESOME!

Remember, its our mistakes that make us better, so if you catch us doing the same thing again, beat me upside the head! LOL.
