I will be there. It looks like, if everything holds up, there should be at least 3 trucks there will a good shot of running in the 11's. 2 of which are either running 11's or breaking something. Not positive if the 3rd wants it bad enough :D Or do ya Merv? Of course its unfortunate that the Big Red Groundhog can't make it, or maybe there would be 4 trucks there with a good shot of running in the 11's.

Chad (guy with the PS that was there last time) and I should be there, too. We are trying to get a whole gang together to come up with us and tailgate it. We'll have to unload the grill and cooler before we make our first run, though. You guys better watch out... I'm might break into the 15's if I'm lucky. Yee-haw! Maybe I should look into getting a five-point harness for that type of massive speed...

See you guys there,

Dave

I should be out... long as I can actually have my weekend off work, off work. But I am just an annoying kid, so what's that matter anyway :D

This is a bad weekend for a diesel drag race.

Your only up against the biggest truck show on the East Coast at Carlisle that weekend.

Oh well. .

Paid my 55 clams to show at Carlisle,so thats where I'll be. It would be nice if those who do the schedule next year consider this as alot of TDR trucks always go to Carlisle... ... ..... Andy

:{ Well the head came in with the 10 over gasket but no studs for at least 2 weeks. I guess that leaves the Division 1 DHRA points race wide open so come one come all I do not think I have another rain dance left to hold off what will be. Best of luck to all who race I may come to take photos just the same.

Weather forecast is actually looking really good. I hope that hurricane that's drifting around out in the Atlantic just stays where it's at.

Well it looks like the weather is going to be very nice this saturday for the race. Hope many of you can make it. From what I've heard, there should be a few very quick trucks there.

Unfortunately I will be at a long time family friends wedding so I won't be there but Neal Murphy will be there in place of me.

Only one day away...

Weather looks great. Should be a great day of racing. If anyone has never seen Maple Grove Raceway, take this opportunity to go and see it. It is one great track that is always full of some great racing. They rolled through over 375 vehicles the last time we were out there and it only took about 5 hours.

Very efficient and clean facility...

Hope many of you can make it...

Results anyone?

It was a ton of fun.

Some really nice trucks for sure. Hopefully someone can post the official results... i'm not sure what they were.

I know Tim (i hope i remembered his name right) from NC ran a 11. 40, Merv ran 12. 20, and Ted ran low 12's as well.

There was some carnage... in the form of a blown head gasket. Sorry Mike!

My best was a 12. 92 @ 103. 40 and that was with a bad launch. I spun coming off the line and only got a 1. 80 60'.

It was nice to meet a lot of new people.

If you were there, please post some more details.

Later,

Chris

I needed to sleep just a bit. I got home 4:30 Sunday morning!

The results and story are posted on the DHRA site. As soon as I find a compatible flash card reader, I'll get the winners' pics posted.

Sounds Great

Well it sounds like I missed a GREAT race...

Sounds like everyone had a great time and there were quite a few newcomers this time.

Hope to see everyone at the next Division 1 race which will be on Saturday September 18th at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. I will be posting details soon about this race...

Race

As in the race was ok,just gets dragged out thru the day. Well on seeing us at the next some things need to be straighten out in the rules. Considering we drove 7 hrs then Tim drove 10 and for the next one its 10 for me and 14 for tim someone needs to straighten out whats wrong and whats right for rules and who's rules we are using.
