I'm,,, "FINALLY" going to install gauges. I've settled on the Di-Pricol's.

My question is which vendor,, if any,, supplies all of the hoses needed to install the gauge with the isolator? My truck is a 99. I really don't have any local sources to have a hose made up. I've also heard of useing a 'grease gun' hose.

Any reccomendations or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. Same question will be in Products/Accessories - Not engine realted.

I also have a 99 with a linex bed liner. I installed a mechanical DiPricol fuel pressure gauge about a year ago. I bought it from Genos and had to purchase the isolator hose separately. I found a hydraulic hose shop in town that made me up a synthetic rubber hose rated at 150 psi, with the appropriate fittings. Cost was about $8.

I installed mine in a dual pod "A" pillar mount. Rather tedious job getting the 1/16" plastic tubing run up the pillar and keeping the joints tight. I filled the line w/ antifreeze using a syringe. After I got it all together I had to remove it and send it back to Genos for a replacement because it was defective.

Highly recommend a fuel pressure gauge, as my lift pump was only doing 3 psi. Installed a new OEM pump and got 12. 5 psi for about 8 months before it started loosing pressure. I'm on my 3rd lift pump now.

Good luck w/ the installation.
