well got to the gauges(DiProcal White Face) in my pile of goodies from santa!! And I'm trying to get all info before I start. I have noticed that three of my gauges have 2 red and 2 black leads comming out of the back, can all the same colors be tied together leaving just 2 main wires(red and black) to hook up to the fuse pannel? or does one set need to go to a different fuse than the other!! Also can I just attach the supplied braided line to my FP gauge and leave it to be connected at a later time or should I complete the whole setup at once!! I am hoping to get the gauges in and lit and then finish the connections at another time. Tryin it on my own to save some dough for transmission upgrades!! Put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking to the dark side!!:D

The wires out the back of the gauges are for the lights, yes you can connect all the red, and all the black , run one set to ground, and one set to hot. Number 5 on the fuse block is for the dimmer.

You also can connect the non-gauge end of your fuel pressuse hose at a later time, just cover the end of the hose so no debris enters.

I'd like to add to Rob's good advice above, you can find miniature "fuse taps" at CarQuest or NAPA, that slip over one leg of the fuse. These fuse taps leave a small blade male connector above the top of the fuse that you can connect a female crimp connector to, keeping things nice, neat, and reliable.

The fuse will be a trifle hard to re-insert, though, it'll take some force.

Thanks guys I'm going to attemp the install today. Just curious why there was 2 sets ,4 wires comming from each gauge? thought one set needed to be hooked to a different fuse than the other!!But upon further inspection relized that there is two bulbs for each gauge:rolleyes: DUH!!! TDR rules!!
