I know this has been covered, but I can't find the thread so...

On the EGT Gauge, I hooked up the internal lighting like instructed, one wire ground, one hot, but on the push-in light, should they be the same, or both hot?

Reason I'm asking, is at night I can't see the needle.

Thanks... Michael

Oh yeah, per my previous thread on fluids change...

The Royal Purple totally eliminated my rear-end howl, and the Synchro-Mesh eliminated a weird noise in my transmission... I'm happy!

For the gauge, I hooked up both lights to the dimmer, the two hot leads went to the orange-brown wire behind the headlight switch, and the two black leads go to ground. It's much easier to see at night this way.

The push-in light only has 2 black wires coming from it, neither labeled ground or hot...

The other ones I hooked up as labeled, just curious on the push-in bulb?

Just thought I'd mention that this same dimmer wire is accessible directly behind the HVAC controls. It's a lot shorter of a run if you're installing a dash pod or rearview cluster. I connected my 4 gauges there and it works perfectly.

THe LED for the needle should be wired WHITE (-) and black positive(+) if memory serves me correct. I had the same problem, until i check the wiring for the LED. Double check your wires. You should be able to see the LED light up behind the needle when correctly wired.
