Diahutsu 850cc Diesels

I just bought a new Exmark 72" Mower It is powered by a 850cc Diahtsu Diesel. While it has some pretty good power (said to be 27hp) I dont think it's quite there and non the less it needs to be a little higher to power a deck that is 72" wide with 6" deep welded steel. So my question is what could a feller do to up the fuel a little?. It DOES have a manual pump if that helps at all.

mmmmmmmmmm I'm thinking that might be hard to get away with on the warranty issue. . LOL. . not to mention ol' Dad/Boss figuring out i tinkered with it...
