Did anyone go from BD3's to Mach 4's?

I'd like to know the difference in smoke at light to medium throttle between these two injector's. The mach 4's are 50 more hp and supposedly much better on smoke so is it the same, more than or less than BD3's? TIA

Just looked at a couple of websites and both had $200 core charges?! whats up with that? It was $100 and some places had no core charge specials and now $200?

Looks like that's a new policy on Don's injectors. I think all the vendors are doing it. Hey one thing to think about - you've got an HO and Don makes the Mach 4. 5 that's supposed to ring every drop out of the HO engine. He says no more power after the 4. 5 in an HO.

At least then you wouldn't be tempted to go even larger in the future! Just my $. 02. I don't know what the price difference is, if any.

:( yeah I know about the limited ability of the HO which brings me to delima. What if I get an HPVP or HR or whatever they are... then I will want mach 6's or 7's... then I would need the twins I've been wanting :{ (plus I'd have to get one of those nice new cams from JetPilot). I try to do things right the first time but I'm stuck between going all out which I don't want to spend the money on atm, or just being happy with a decent tow rig with mach 4's.

I have talked myself into being happy with the mach 4's but I know I want twins down the road :{ :{ thanks Heavy ;)

Mach 4s will spin a set of twins just fine. You could always use them with your future twins setup. You'll be happy with whatever you get. Don turns out a great product, that's for sure.
