I installed my new Auto-meters today and they came with some really cool, red & green, Christmas condoms! They were almost too small though ;)

Bulb covers

I just installed my gauges yesterday. I decided to replace the bulbs with green and red GLASS #194 bulbs. After the sun goes down tonight I'll decide which ones look best and update the post.

***** UPDATE ******

The green bulbs appear to be too dark to quickly get my readings, much darker than bulb w/ cover.

Red looks good to me but is a clash with the rest of the dash lights. I'll have to drive more before I make a final decision on the red. Seems to provide better illumination to the gauge than plain white bulb.

gauge lights

i replaced the white 194's with red in my Isspro EV's, in the FP and Boost gauges. doesn't match the dash, but great visibility, and easier on your night vision. the EGT gauge dial is color coded (green, yellow and red, in the different zones) so left the original bulbs in it. they are different (T5?), anyway. i like the red in the other gauges. i also put a red 194 in my transmission temp gauge from PermaCool.
