Took the truck in for tsb 18-037-04. While installing the tsb he said his hand held device was asking if I also wanted tsb 18-004-04 (high idle) installed which was coming up as an option. I gave him the ok and it works just great. From the other posts I've read about tsb 18-037-04 everyone is seeing 1 to 3 more m. p. g. on their overhead display. I don't see any change at all. Did I get tsb 18-037-04? There seems to be no change in how the engine runs (have not pulled yet) and I do like the high idle feature... ... .

Thanks... ... ... .

I don't know what to tell you. My overhead was up right out of the shop bay. I also noticed that my truck ran different. I like the difference, but it took a couple of days to get used to. For what it is worth, my overhead went from being stuck on 13. 1 (I am not a resetter) to 15. 9. My TSB sticker is on the drivers side of the engine, stuck to the stainless cover on the CPU which is mid/low part of the block.

Did you reset the overhead computer display? If it has not been reset for a few hundred miles, it would take a long time for a change in milage to be reflected there.

Does anyone have an e-copy of TSB 18-004-04 (high idle). Got TSB 18-037-04 done and thought the high idle was part of that. Called dealer back and they said they knew nothing about a high idle tsb. Looks like show and tell time again. ;)

Looks like I am getting about 1mpg than before and the transmission performance is great :)

You can find a copy of TSB 18-004-04 on dodgeram.org, there is a TSB link on the left side of the page. My serial number was newer than this TSB specifies but my dealer activated the high idle when then did TSB 18-037-04 and the driver's door seal for me.

I had mine done about a month ago, and I didn't notice any real difference. My speedo was re-calibrated with my 35's, so I did notice my mileage went up a little to 16. 4 consistent from mid to low 15's. I don't see any sticker, but I had my computer read at a different dealer and they said the computer read an "AH" code which supposedly is the most recent code. The dealer also said that putting the sticker on the truck is not really a priority for the service techs. I still don't know whether I had it done or not, but I am happy with the mileage upgrade which I am attributing to the 35's and speedo re-calibration.
