Did I have a Great week last week...

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

I need prank ideas...

How was your drive home?

Tuesday evening I backed the truck out of the driveway and smashed into my wife's car-$1000 damage (not even a scratch on the truck)

Wednesday morning I woke up to a cold shower--The 'just over a year old' hot water heater had taken a dive. Thats ok, cause I was still hot from the night before. $37 and 2 hours of reciting my favorite expletives fixing it.

Thursday evening I found out my Mom was a victim of a nation-wide identity theft ring--$?? What is wrong with people?

Friday evening my wife calls me (at my buddy's garage working on our trucks and an 18 pack) "Did you take any CD's out of my car?" Yep, you guessed it--some jerk@&& went on a five finger discount around town and had stolen about $400 of CD's out of our car alone.

BTW, Our insurance company tells us Saturday morning "Tapes and CD's are not covered for theft(when removed from your car) because they are a high-risk theft item" NO $&!%

Things are looking up this week:rolleyes:

Dang Jim, sorry to hear you are having such a crappy time!

Been there and done most of that, and it truly sucks. Hang tough!

That sucks Jim. :( It sounds to me like you need a good meal at Hooter's on Sunday. There is something about that place that makes you forget about all your troubles:D .

Don't feel too bad

During the last month or so: My wifes Explorer was totaled in a hit and run, my computer completely died, my 35 inch tv broke (3 times in 3 months, had to go get a HD 46inch :D, my rice cooker broke, my wife got a lay-off notice, and my truck fried it's wiring harness...

Sheesh! If it weren't for bad luck, some of you guys would have no luck at all. Kinda makes my lift pump woes seem, trivial.

Hang in there Jim. I'll buy you one in Janesville (or whenever would be more appropriate).

If I were you I would stay away from sharp objects for a while!:D Hope your luck changes for the better.

Devon, does your wife work for the big B? Pretty soon there won't be anyone left to build airplanes in this state!

Andy

Andy, yes she does/did, I do too. The buildings are like a ghost town. So far I seem to be ok but only time will tell. The moral is the worst I have ever seen. People just hate to come to work and see their friends dwindle away...

Momma should be ok though. She is just a few classes shy of a nursing degree so she will concentrate on that. Then she will be able to write her own ticket. Sno-county is in dire needs of qualified nurses.

I cann't wait for the uniform :D !!

Everything is beautiful...well, at least better

We got the car back from the body shop yesterday. Turned out better than I had thought. Insurance co was real cool about it too. The cops caught the kid that ripped everybody off around town, and confiscated an ass-load of stuff. Brooke got all her CD's back, but we will have to go to court. I cant wait to see what this kid looks like. I got to the bank with my check, and its seems they overpaid me about $200. I am sure after I talk to the payroll chick, I wont get to keep it.

Last week probably wasnt as bad as it could have been, it just seemed so at the time, with everything happening at once.
