2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission did the factory ever correct the nv4500 5th gear problem?

I think they did... Here is how they finally did it... On the new 05 CTD the G56 (new 6 speed) manual transmission is the stock transmission... And you guys thought they would never get around to fixing the 5th gear problem...

The NV5600 doesn't have a fifth gear problem.

No they did not.

Their fix was to wait untill your nut fell off and hope it did it under warranty. The upgraded nut was not installed by them before they did the original install... ... . Andy

Just to make sure they fixed the NV4500 they also quit making the NV5600. Just wanted to make sure the new G56 wasn't infected... :-laf :-laf
