Diesel Books ?

I am new to Diesel world. I can work on most older gas engines. I would like to start doing my own repairs. Is there any good books out there besides the Dodge shop manuals that are recommended to get. I would like to learn

The factory service manuals are the only ones that go in to enough detail to be worth buying.

The others that I see are much to generic and some times incorrect.

To save some money albeit at a loss of convenience you can get them on disc for less money.
