I drive 1 mile to work and live in Minnesota. I plug the truck in on a timer for two hours before work and run a LUND Stainless Steel cold front in the winter. I have never had a problem with it. Except trans at 100,000, no second gear. Still the original Pump and Injectors at 112,000 miles. Also use PS fuel additive in the winter(white Bottle at 12OZ per tank and use Silver bottle in summer at 12OZ per tank. Truck is a true daily driver and gets worked in the warm weather. I pull 40' gooseneck that has a combined weight of 26,500 when loaded for the race weekend. I will never own a gasser again. Like any truck, remember basic maintenance is the key. Good Luck, Remember Real Diesels don't have glow plugs.

So, you want to save fuel, try one of these

Saw a Dumb car er was that a Smart car parked in front of the 24 hour fitness today. I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures of the toy car with the Ram behind it. Don’t think I would drive one if it came with free fuel for 5 years. :-laf

Thats too funny! You could put that thing in your bed for a spare car. Hate to see what that Smart Car would look like if we T-Boned one with our Cummins. Like a nat gettin smaked by a fly swatter.

HEY - that thing looks pretty much like your Dodge, from the bed forward - just a bit smaller! :-laf

Those are actually so ugly they're cute - sure hate to be in a collision inside one out at freeway speeds - but maybe they're not allowed on the freeways... :-laf
