Diesel drags at New England Dragway Sept. 30
its sunday sept 30 , anyone planning on attending ? anyone traveling a distance want to make a weekend of it ?
massdiesel and i are trying to set up a dyno bash for the saturday before the race on sunday . looking to see how many people would be interested .
we scoped out a dyno facility not real far from his norfolk mass. shop , in warren rhode island . we ran my truck on the dyno to see what if any difference from the dyno day that was run in april in CT hosted by toolman tim taylor ... wheres he been anyway ????
just running against the weight of the rollers in OD this time i was able to hit 398. 1 hp , i'm pretty sure the TC was locked , ran a baseline with tc unlocked in OD and it was 373hp , my best in ct was 371hp in 3rd, so things are still good inside the mighty cummins . only difference was the DD version of the EZ edge . not sure on cost , but figured roughly $60 for 3 runs.
anyway , the dyno owner can program in resistance , didn't find this out till afterwards , but he's going to call dyno jet and see what they reccomend to get REAL numbers , when he finds out i'll go back and try it again . i made a bit more boost , but still unable to pin my egt which is the norm since the DD3's went in .
so who would be interested in doing a dyno day on saturday the 29th , drags are on sunday .
