Gary,the date is the 27th and 28th of october,it's the The Trucking For Kid's,sat is open for all and sun is big rig's only.

As for start time's and the price for each run no info at this time but will try to find out,not able to find on (larc.net) site but will keep looking.....

Naturally I can’t speak for this year, but in the years past (20 years for this event) there has only been a handful of Diesel pick up’s in attendance, although there have been more in resent years, maybe because more people are seeing the potential in Hot Rodding their Diesels? I’ve seen some 4-53 Detroit conversions, Fords & Dodges that were mostly stock, and Gale Banks had a Dodge that they were testing there one year and a few others. Come and join the fun, show the gassers what a Diesel can do!

Anyway with the coverage like we have here, that should all change!

Talked to Nowel (HVAC) over the weekend and he said himself and a couple other guys from Norcal would be there, I know I will be.

Gates open at 0600 and drags start at 1000.



This will be the first time out with the auto working properly. First time with the twin turbos too. I have new tires on the back which we will air down as far as possible. Traction is getting harder and harder to find!

I'll bring my mini compressor. We may need to air up for the ride home. I'm droppin my rears as far as I dare to get a grip. As small as that compressor is, it will drive an impact gun to swap wheels.

Best way to set the pressure on radials. set them where you think they need to be... go out and light em up... not a burnout just lay down some good rubber from a standstill. Analyze the marks. . should be dark alllll the way accross. If not either air em up or let them down to get the desired mark. I have been attempting to hook my car on radials for 7 years now lol. To low is ALOT worse than to high. Be sure and let us know how everything works out!! Wish I was close enough to come check things out

I checked about the tire traction stuff and everyone told me that the stuff makes your tires slippery, it only works on soft tires.



Maybe the people at the track can lay down some VHT to hook up the track.



Come on guys, winter is coming and cabin fever will be here sooner than you think.
