Steved, you've made 2 points and are correct on both
Hopefully all fuel has had additives added, perhaps we shouldn't be so hopeful. However due to $ probably only to the min standard but should be in there at the pump. After market additive manufacturers say do not mix with other additives or at least Stanadyne and Opti-lube (the ones I've used) do. So Steved, your correct on both points. What happens when after market products are mixed with fuel manufacturers products. Do those of you that have used additives faithfully and have had troubles can you be sure mixing the products has not been the cause of your issues. Seems the tests with no manufactures additives in the fuel has opened up more questions than were answered, how can we be sure additives mixed with fuel manufacturers additives would not completely change the out come of the tests? And what are the fuel manufactures using? I'll keep using them however, so far no issues.
