Need a little help with an Injector pump on 6310 John Deere

LOL, glad to see it back down to $3. 60ish a gallon seven years later! Diesel is actually running about $0. 35 a gallon less than regular unleaded around here recently, that is good news.

Can you pump your own diesel in Oregon? I've heard both yes and no. I try like crazy to make it all the way through Oregon without fueling because I can't ever get a full tank when the pump jockey does it. And Oregon cheats when the stations suck you in with the super low red diesel cost on their big signs!:-laf

Do the tank vent mod. Pick up 3-4 gals and it's filled every time. I filled in Oregon heading south on 101 last Sept. Crossed into taxville(Cali) and the price jumped $0. 18/gallon. $3. 83 at the cheapest here. Get it before July 1st as the price across the board jumps 3. 78% to punish us for conservation. Electicity going up as much as 11% for the same reason. Revenue down. Brown just announced tax breaks for new business here. Huh?

The last time I remember fuel being cheaper than gas around here, I was running sround in an 85 VW Golf. Boy did that ol girl love the pink stuff!

Highway fuel has consistantly been 30 to 40 cents higher than regular unleaded around here for many years.

Technically yes, BUT I have had retail stations say it was company policy to pump ALL fuel. I have a commercial card lock account so rarely use a retail outlet, so not a lot of experience, however AFAIK, the restriction legally only applies to gasoline.
