Diesel fuel price extremes: How bad in your area?

Theyre ripping us off here where I live. $1. 40 is about the best you'll do. The %$#& refinery is only 50 miles from me!! Tourist area etc. etc.

Even in Maine it's cheaper. My parents have a house there, and it's been cheaper for about 2 months now.

Here in Southwest VA, fuel is running

$1. 37 per gal. with a 45 cetane rating at Wilco/Hess. All other fueling stations are same price or higher, but only have 40 cetane.

Diesel here in SE Ohio is $1. 42 cash price, and gasoline is $1. 32--WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!! I Paid $1. 59 last Sunday in Cincinnati

At the Phillips station I usually go to diesel is 1. 48 and gas is 1. 50. At the Loves truck stop both are 1. 39. Phillips is usually more convienient to get to and they will let me use the big pumps (I always laugh at the PSD's that take forever at the little pump).

i just fueled up at the chevron on hickey blvd. off of hwy 280 in daly city this am. get this..... $1. 59!!! (others with cheaper in your area don't chime in... ) the sign out front says $1. 69 which is what i paid 2 weeks ago there, but the pump figures it to $1. 59. that's not as amazing as some places in the city are asking $2. 15 and higher!!!! this is the cheapest i've paid in california (reno, nv a few weeks ago was $1. 48). when i first bought my truck i paid $1. 55 at a truck stop i like on the north slope of the grapevine (gorman?)... that's a chevron as well. but getting back to the poll... we're talkin' half a buck!!

I've been paying $1. 53 at Texaco.

I was with a buddy on Saturday who stopped to fill up at the Flying J in Fife-$1. 29!!! I'm driving out there for my next fill up.



Funny thing though, according to their web site the Flying J in Federal Way (about 5 miles from Fife) is $1. 47.

Just paid $1. 309 at Flying J in Fife Wa. Although the Texaco right next door was $1. 659... . go figure...

Well, this weekend I saw $1. 399 at a Chevron just off I-5 in Bellingham, WA, and the 76 station that is 1/2 mile from my house is at $1. 799. That's a 40¢ swing! If the Flying J in Fife is at $1. 309, that almost 50¢ a gallon cheaper! Almost worth the 1 hour round trip drive to fill up in Fife... ... ... . but not quite

Diesel just dropped to the lowest I've seen it in almost 2 years.



Cisco Travel Plaza has it for $1. 17 at exit 1 off of I-95 in Georgia.



Gas is down to $1. 16
