Why did you buy your current truck?

$1. 659 in southern MD, about $0. 38 less then unleaded is running in this area.

Interestingly, the diesel price at this station has not budged for three months now, either up or down.

In the process of moving to Grants Pass Oregon and Diesel seems to be between $2. 17 - $2. 23 around here. I did find one shell station at $2. 09.

I just got home from a two week trip to Muncie and I saw prices as low as $1. 53 in Indianapolis and as high as $2. 28 here in Oregon. Definitly better east of Idaho.

$1. 66/gallon - Pilot at the 65 yardstick on I-35W (10 miles north of Fort Worth)

$1. 59/gallon - Flying J and Love's between the 467 and 472 yardsticks on I-20 (east of Fort Worth)

Highest I've ever seen it in my neck of the woods was $1. 69 a couple of weeks ago at the I-35 Pilot. Even with the higher prices I buy there when I'm in town. Drop by and say "Hi" at pump #3, the only pump I use on the non-commercial side.

Saw it up around $1. 80/gallon on I-20 while on the road to Shreveport a few weeks ago. Didn't care however, since I won enough to pay for fuel, a ribeye steak dinner at the Horseshoe and still get home with an extra $200 in my pocket. Let it Ride at $15 per bet has been berry berry good to me...

Glenn, I did fill there on the way home but just around the Lynnwood 2. 15 still

I was paying 203. 9 until recently. It suddenly dropped 18 cents but the gas prices remained the same. Im wondering if the state didnt drop its double tax on diesel. Seems weird that diesel went down and gas didnt budge. Im paying 208. 9 for plus right now at chevron for my gas meiser. Its been a long time since diesel was considerably cheaper than gas around here.

Seems like everyone is digging in the diesel drivers pockets. Uncle sam and at state level. Why do we get picked on? They voted for a double tax on gas and it was put down. I dont recall the same vote for us diesel guys. Seems unconstitutional and favoritism. We get it in the hiney cause there are fewer of us. Goshdurnit maybe I finally qualify for some of those minority handouts.

paid 1. 469 at the pilot west of okc yesterday. price here at home has been dropping steadily now at 1. 569. makes you almost feel like your stealing it!

right now im paying 1. 58- 1. 59 for my diesel local station at 1. 59 and the 1. 58 station on my way to work, im not complaining but when i bought my truck new in 2000 i was only paying . 99 per gallon. I get steamed every time i have to fill up even though im paying less than what regular gas is, I guess i won't be happy until it drops back to about 1. 10 to 1. 15 but i will not hold my breath or i will surely die a slow slow death ...
. 99 cents in 2000... . :--)

I haven't seen ANY fuel that low for about 13 years here in the PNW. And to boot, it is a cold day in hell when diesel is lower then gas over here on the west coast. It has only been the last month that diesel has been lower then unleaded. Of course we were paying 2. 25 while gas was 2. 35. Oh yeah... . woopity doo, I feel privileged.
