Diesel Fuel Prices - Phoenix

I've been paying up to $1. 69 for fuel in N. E. Phoenix. With gas prices up to over $2. 00 a gallon for premium, I guess that's not too bad. Where are you Phoenix guys buying your fuel and how much are you paying for it?

Don't really understand pricing on fuel. I live in SW Missouri and up at the corner at the local Conoco where all the farmers fill-up the price is $1. 39. You would think it would be cheaper in a big city like Phoenix

We've got a major pipeline down between Tucson and Phoenix. Supposed to be a temporary thing, but the wholesalers are capitalizing on the situation and running prices up on gasoline. Not sure how much it's effected diesel. Check it out:

Paid 1. 46 at Flying J last Thursday, I-10 and 67th ave.

In south Chandler I was paying $1. 69 yesterday and is up to $1. 80 at the stations that have any left today. Unfortunately I think we are going to get hit with the shortage now as they pull the tankers to haul unleaded. I was just getting used to pulling into empty stations and filling up. However, I guess Flying J and some of the other truck stops have plenty because they have their own haulers.

I have heard that CALIF. was shipping to AZ and caused our prices to jump $ . 18

Thought my mileage on last tank was a fluke, 19. 1 MPG some highway some city. Filled up in Flagstaff Sunday and just topped off today to check mileage. Get this. . 155 miles on 7. 3 gallons. Like 21. 2 MPG. I am really impressed with this truck.



Oh yea, no lines at the Mobil Superpumper. Out of everything but diesel. Pulled right in and started pumping. At least 10 cars thought I was pumping gas and pulled in behind me. No such luck.

Phoenix Diesel Prices

I just filled up at a small store @ 7th Ave just south/east of the Durango Curve. $1. 80/Gal. Sure beats $2. 79 that they were getting for Premium. Sure wish I had a 70 Gallon aux tank! A fillup will get me a week or so. no worries!
