I paid $1. 86 Friday in southeastern Massachusets. In Rhode Island it's $1. 95 and up.
If you want to see alot of this same info go to General Diesel Topics because I started a thread there awhile back and there's alot of posts from all over the country.
I find it easier to just fill it up and ignore the price per gallon. Less hatred builds up that way...
At least the Gulf Coast states have the lowest average price. I can spend well over $100 filling the truck (35 gal diesel) and boat (56 gal gas) if I'm in for a long weekend of fishing... :{ I guess I'll have to cut down on the runnin' and gunnin'... Who knows maybe I'll catch more fish!
Oil hit below $60. 00 a barrel,up here in oil rich Alberta with our high fuel taxes----gas was 0. 839 cents a litre(0. 839 x 3. 78Litres=$3. 171 a US gallon)---Diesel is even higher---$1. 139 a litre($1. 139 x3. 78Litres = $4. 305 a US gallon)---doesn't seem so bad south of the border?-------:-laf:-laf
i am half way though a 1100 mile (one way) trip to VA and diesel seems to be running around . 90 or more a gallon more then regular with 1. 799 being the cheapest gas i've seen
That would be nice, up home it flirted with $6. 00/gal locally. that must be as good a reason as any to close down refineries to create an artificial shortage- very Enronesque don't you think?
Don't you just love all the "develop bio-diesel technologies" speeches we heard during the election debates and yet none of them had the smarts to figure out that without lowering the taxes on diesel to be more in line with gas it automatically has disadvantage. Push green technologies... yeah I'll believe it when they make the taxes the same for each type of fuel. If anything gas should be taxed higher as it isn't "green"
