I just caught this off of an agricultural web site at

I just bought a transport load of diesel fuel today for $1. 22 cents. Makes one wonder how this will all work out this summer. "



Now the farmer only paid $1. 22, even after adding the retail taxes on it, we the end user at the pumps are really getting stiffed~!

I don't know what kind of mark up there is on diesel. There is still quite a bit of agriculture here down south, but at $1. 77 a gallon looks better than the $2. 10 gal for the cheap gas.
